I have no experience with Zetta, their current product, but you can still buy NexGen systems and there must be thousand's of them across the country. If I had to choose second it would be RCS NexGen. I had the luxury of time so this was fine for me. I Built and setup my own system with only mailing list and WIKI support (free) with no prior Linux experience it took about 6 month's to have everything working the way I wanted it. However if you as the maintainer are not comfortable with Linux based systems, it may perhaps not be the best. You can get a turn-key system and support contract for all of them (Paravel systems sells turn-key Rivendell systems and support). I've used WOAFR, Rivendell, Enco DAD, and RCS NexGen Digital in my career. the transition may be different enough that you would still have the same frustrations. Now I have never used SS-32, My time with Wide-orbit started when it was Google Radio Automation (for about 6mos IIRC) and then WOAFR. Most people I've worked with are resistant to change and no matter how great the new system is, your likely to get frustration and complaints simply because it is different and not the way they're use to doing things. MY recommendation is that unless there's some deal breaker you just cant live with the best automations system is the one you (and your staff) already know.
